Terms and Conditions - Flight Booking

Contract of Carriage
Travelers are responsible to check in 120 minutes hours prior to flight departure. Travelers are also responsible to be available for boarding at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to departure. All tickets and travel credits are nontransferable and can only be used by the person whose name appears on the ticket.

Reconfirmation
While reconfirmation of flights is not required on all airlines, it is MidEarth Travel's recommendation to reconfirm all on-going flights 7 days before scheduled departure date.

Seat Assignment
Advance seat assignments are not guaranteed and may change without notice as per individual airline policies.

Refunds
Ticket refunds may incur penalties as per airline policies. Voluntary changes to traveler itineraries may require the payment of additional fees and fare upgrades. In case of non-refundable tickets, airlines will be unable to make exceptions in the event of an unexpected trip cancellation or medical emergency. MidEarth Travel strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance.

Overbooking
Airline flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance that a seat will not be available on a flight for which a traveler has a confirmed reservation. If the flight is overbooked, no one will be denied a seat until airline personnel first ask for volunteers willing to give up their reservation in exchange for a payment of the airline's choosing. If there are not enough volunteers, the airline will deny boarding to other persons in accordance with its particular boarding priority. With few exceptions, persons denied boarding involuntarily are entitled to compensation. The complete rules for the payment of compensation and boarding priorities are available at all airport ticket counters and boarding locations.

Travel Documents
For international flights, travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have valid documentation required to enter their destination country. MidEarth Travel has no responsibility of ensuring valid passports and/or visas for travelers. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into a foreign country. Visas may be required to enter some countries. A return ticket is required for entry if a traveler is traveling on a visitor's visa. If a traveler is rejected entry by a foreign country, he or she is responsible for his/her own costs of traveling back to the point of departure. No refund will be entertained.

Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowance policies vary with airline and ticket type. Call us at 613.236.5226 or contact your airline for more information.
