Tour NE15: Boston - Rhode Island 4-Day (New)

Highlights: Boston, Rhode Island, Harvard University, Quincy Market, freedom trail
Duration: April 10 - 2020 departures

Day 1: Ottawa - Boston 

We depart Ottawa early at 7:00 in the morning for Boston, the famous cultural and historical city of America. We will pass the custom and have a lunch break on the way. Upon arrival, we will visit the famous Quincy Market where you can have your free time and dinner. We will head to the Boston famous historical development road - the Freedom Trail, which is a more than 3 km street made of by red brick. Along with the Freedom Trail, you can visit Boston Public Garden, Old South Meeting House, Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Old North Church, and Paul Revere House. Dinner time you can have your food at Quincy Market, or try a delicious Chinese supper in Boston Chinatown.  Around 8:00 pm we will go to our hotel: Best Western or similar.

 

Day 2: Boston

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel around 8:00 am for a city tour in Boston. We will visit the two famous universities in the world: Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After that, we will take the Super Duck cruise tour to enjoy the scenery and Boston history by land and water. Then we will visit the New England Aquarium, one of the premier visitor attractions in Boston. This Aquarium is a global leader in ocean exploration and marine conservation. Dinner time you can have your food at Quincy Market. Tonight you will use the same hotel as last night.



Day 3: Boston – Rhode Island  

We will leave the hotel around 7:30 am for Rhode Island. Upon arrival, we will visit the most lavish house in America – the Marble House, which was built in 1892 and furnished at a cost of $11 million. The next house is The Breakers – the 70 rooms villa built by leading American architect Richard Morris Hunt for Cornelius Vanderbilt II and his wife, its interiors include rich marbles and gilded rooms. Afterward, we can enjoy the Cliff Walk along the eastern shore of Newport, Rhode Island, famous for its walk with one side showing the natural beauty of the ocean shoreline. We will end our day by dropping by Brown University on the way back to our hotel which is the same one as last night.

 

Day 4: Boston  - Ottawa

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel around 8:00 am for the Boston Premier Outlets on the way back to our home. We will have our lunch in the outlets and departure for Ottawa at 1:00 pm. We will make a stop at a duty-free shop at around 6:30 PM and arrives in Ottawa at 10:00 PM. Have a wonderful trip!
